A British man, who wished to remain anonymous, walked into Duke's, a Dorchester auction house, recently with a vase he purchased at an estate sale for several dollars. The vase, in a flimsy cardboard box turned out to be a near perfect Ming from 1403 to 1424 valued at $1.6 million.
Finds like this is why most of us love to go to fleamarkets, thrift stores and yard sales. We all hope one day it will be us finding that treasure that allows us to retire.
Become a follower here and I will try to keep you aware of estate sales, yard sales, and more so maybe one day you can be "that guy".
